Are you trying to drum up business?

Rod, I occasionally read your posts, and this is something I have always wondered about you so I thought I would just come out and ask:

Are you trying to use this forum to attract clients to your life coaching business? To me, your posts sound like something a person would say on an infomercial. They don't sound like they are coming from one human being to another human being on an equal level. It sounds like you are standing at a lectern in front of an audience, trying to sell something.

I'm sorry if you are genuine, but to me you sound like you have a sales agenda. I had to ask because I am in marketing. Perhaps that makes me overly cynical.

If you are trying to use this forum for viral marketing of your life coaching services, I'm pretty sure there are rules here against that, though I could be wrong.

In e-marketing, people are often hired to go onto non-promotional web sites raving about a particular service, which is why I ask. It's called "seeding."

There is this little part of me that wonders if you are doing that? However, I do not stay up on all the posts, so perhaps you have answered this question elsewhere.
