Yes, it helps tremendously. I've only ever been to one acupuncturist, and he's very good. I find though, that in order to get the best out of my treatment, I need to be very specific about what I want; what's bothering me *the most*. I went last week because I was having so much trouble with my sleep and my mental functions. One session, and I was calmer and slept better than I have in a long time (read: months). Gotta go again next week .. as far as I know the effect is cumulative, so it's important not to keep going until problem is resolved. Good luck.
