My online friends know much much more about me than anyone IRL except my boyfiend. When my boyfriend and I were still 'just good friends' he found my online journal, and that changed everything between us. Then he knew about my online life and what was going on inside my mind, he saw photos of my self injury and poems I had written.
I still have online places I go to talk online that he doesn't know about, but he's happy for me to do that. It's good to have a place that's totally separate, accepting, and just for you.
