Hi Daisy,
I'm sorry you have to go through this. I understand what you mean about having to mourn. For me, it's not only giving up this "ideal world" I made up to inhabit when I was a young girl, but I mourn all the "what-ifs" of my life, of all the missed potentials and opportunities because I was (and am) hurting or unable to help myself, or simply didn't know any better because I had no strong role models. Sometimes I feel like the movie "On the Waterfront," when Marlon Brando says, "I could have been a contender." I could have been one too, and while it's not too late to achieve some dreams, most of them I have to accept they will never be--so I mourn the loss.

I also mourn the loss of my innocence, and that's one I don't think I will ever get over.

Good luck Daisy, I'm sending warm thoughts your way.
