Now that I can identify with. I tend to give my therapist symbolic gifts of myself. Like giving him my razor blades. And he doesn't always grasp that those are gifts. And it kind of hurts when he doesn't. But I'm not one to allow myself to be hurt if not necessary, so now before I give him a symbolic gift I identify it and tell him what it means to me. He's not so dense that he doesn't get it then. :)
