That sounds very hurtful.
Did you agree to cut down to once a month or did he impose it on you? I think all mental health professionals should be sensitive to clients' fears of abandonment, so it sounds like he is not being very professional. As for the incident with the computer, well that sounds just rude.Could you consider the idea of finding someone else, maybe in a different town close to yours? It must seem unbearable to think of starting again with someone else. But if he has lost confidence in treating you, then it can't do much for your faith in him. I'm sure you are not a hopeless case and deserve better than this. In any case, tell him how you feel next time. And if he cancels, try to get him on the phone or write to him and let him know, very forcefully if necessary, how hurtful this is.
