accidental insult

Posted by Hollygirl on April 12, 2003, at 20:36:16

Ok, here is my dilemma with my pdoc. I casually mentioned to him one time how his office isn’t very “welcoming” and that he might want to consider investing in a good interior decorator. Sure, it wasn’t the most polite thing to say, but his bare office was really getting on my nerves. So, he then proceeds to go into this lengthy diatribe about how he hates the office because the landlords screwed him over and so he has never really moved in because he is waiting for the chance to move to a different building. I accepted his explanation and moved on. But now every time I go visit him he starts complaining about his office! Hello, I think I am paying to talk about me! Moral of the story? Never insult your pdoc’s office…
