Zoloft vx Celexa for Anxiety

Posted by Indy on July 25, 2002, at 11:23:32

I have been on Zoloft for 3 months now with several adjustments to the dosage (between 75mg and 125mg). I have been very sensitive to the side effects - mostly more anxiety! I was feeling better for about 3 weeks when I added 50 mgs of Klonopin to the mix at night. I'm now back to feeling very anxious again and irritable with depression setting in. I am thinking of changing to Celexa because I've heard it is "less active" and better for anxiety/panic attacks. I had very good luck with Paxil before, but it pooped out after I had my son 2 years ago. Anyone have any advice on changing to Celexa? Are the side effects less harsh than with Zoloft?
