I'm sorry I've been AWOL.
I was in Dunedin which is a few hours south of Christchurch. I never made it up there on my bike, because it seemed too far. 4 hours, or something. Too much for me in a day trip.
I moved to Auckland. Other island. Ages away. Been living out of hotels / motels. Having to throw tantrums at Work and Income etc etc etc in order to... Finally get to... Sign up with a REALLY GREAT one bedroom apartment that is, like, right by the Medical School and the Hospital and location location location WIN. F*ck*ng yay. Now all I need is for Waikato to sign off on my thesis and for me to actually get f*ck*ng well accepted into the Medical School here for next year.
Yeah.
Salty about that.
But the Christchurch thing... For me... Would be like... Hearing about fires in California for someone living in Florida. I would imagine.
I have been out of touch with life because while Fibre is in the building it won't be in my apartment in particular until a few weeks yet. Phone as a wireless hotspot costs billions (or similar equivalent for my income) in these parts.
