Ach effecting Ca+ and SK

Posted by B2chica on June 7, 2011, at 11:00:05

i just sat in on a lecture that was discussing this effect in mice. and would like to know a little more about it in the psychopharmacology aspect.

the discussion was about auditory function and development in mice
it was mentioned that the amount of Acetycholine effects the amount of calcium channel which i guess are an agonist of the slow potassium channels?

i was trying to grasp both what he was saying applying to auditory function and both in my mind trying to alter that to psych meds and didnt do either one well...please assist.

how one effects the other?

thanks
b2c.
