I'm not exactly sure. I read about this a while back. D-meth also has higher affinity for the norepinephrine reuptake pump.

It kind of makes it like norquetiapine (ie an NRI and 5-ht1a agonist).

Both 5-ht1a agonism and NRI will increase prefrontal catecholamine activity. But, I have no idea how strong it is at 5-ht1a.
