Ive taken melatonin before. I know about its relationship with serotonin, but I never seemed to get any benefit from it. It makes me vaguely sleepy. Nothing like the histamine grogginess of celexa.
you should be able to add something to keep you awake, like provigil, an amphetamine or a TCA as long as you keep the dose reasonable and dont use something that enhances serotonin.
Im on a SSRI + NRI combo and I can tell you that if I take my NRI med at night, I do have problems falling asleep, but its 10x easier to get out of bed in the morning.
