In my much younger years i had experience with at least two NMDA antagonists to a large degree. Yes a serious trip could easily cause some sort of odd, mental visual experience. Think of it as the same sort of internal hallucinations people have in deprivation tanks, you're stuck inside yourself and theres no getting out so your conscious can do anything it damn well pleases and take you on strange journeys in that deep dark hole.

As for the paranormal thing haha. At a certain point i once had a group of friends who would get together and use DXM. Often times we'd end up going on these bizzare walks at night and i swear we would have 2 or 3 street lamps randomly turn off when we walked by them. Everyone saw it even sober people so this wasnt an illusion.
