Bummer that you're feeling so bad. My sympathies - I get really down and out when I'm sick and I have had a LOT of sinus infections! Thankfully I'm still taking pseudoephedrine for which I obviously should be grateful!
One comforting "treatment" I've found is chicken broth with garlic. Really! I buy it in about a 14 oz. (?) can - think it's Sue Bee or something like that - for around a buck (or less), pour it into a large coffee cup and heat it in the microwave for a little less than a minute. Sipping it like you would coffee or tea is really soothing. Somehow it's comforting and I've heard that garlic has some medicinal properties ... never mind social issues.
Do you have allergies? I've found that finally Xolair is helping me and I'm taking a little less pseudoephedrine. It's really expensive, though - need insurance!
The hassles with screwed up pharmacies (I thought I had a corner on that!) will go better when you're well. Truly, having the tools to deal with these things will improve when you're feeling better.
