Hi,
This is the first time i am posting here.
I have had diarrhea, ever since an unsuccessful
benzo withdrawal attempt. It was 7 yrs. ago
approx. It was very bad during the w/d and
as Dr. Ashton would predict it may very well
be a protracted syndrome. But i don't know the cause; maybe IBS, maybe
personal tooth problems, maybe diet, maybe the
medications i'm taking. But the timing is significant because i was never like this before
the w/d attempt. So, now it is like clockwork right after I take my Synthroid dose in the morning. (i take Synth., Lithium, and clonazepam-- steady doses for about 20 yrs. now).
I would like to take something to stop it, because it has prevented me from living a normal life. My dr. suggested drop the coffee (one cup a day) but that has not done anything. I have tried Pectoate and fibre- they help a bit. Still, it seem constant first thing in the morning, and sometimes when i eat sugar or lactate stuff, or if i am upset.
Any suggestions would be greatly welcome.
