How to find info about docs before seeing them?

Posted by Lonely on July 9, 2007, at 22:08:49

I need to see a rheumatologist in a nearby major city. I have a list of names from my insurance and have googled them and looked at one MD rating site but none of the names turn up (except one). Is there some other way I can find out if they're reasonable and supportive? I've read about some good rheumys but of course they're not on my insurance!
