In reply to exercise is suppose to improve mood right????!!!, posted by mike lynch on September 18, 2004, at 16:33:34
Where are you exercising and what are you doing for exercise?
I found that walking outdoors did wonders before I was on medication. The "crash" you feel is the endorphins wearing off. Try using mental exercises to combat the feelings you're having. Force yourself to visually retrace your steps in your mind and how good you felt breathing the fresh air. It's worth a shot...

> The thing is...I was never depressed per se before starting working out...i felt more along the lines of apathetic...unmotivated...emotionless....now exercise is seemingly triggered a spout of actual depressing feelings..This is one of the few things that was suppose to give me relief..I hate drugs and it is the primary reason I turned to natural means and now apparently the most reccomended forum of an anti-depressant is making me depressed!! This is really strange..I can't find any answers to this researching and I don't think I will here either...unless someone has gone threw it..well that's all
