Metformin (glucophage) questions

Posted by Cecilia on June 1, 2004, at 2:02:36

For those who have taken it, does metformin really reduce your appetite or does it just make you too nauseated to eat? Are the side effects worse if you eat fattening foods? Will it still reduce your blood glucose if you don`t change your diet or are the glucose lowering effects only because it suppoedly makes you eat less? Cecilia
