I'm dreadful at testing my sugars. Since my hemoglobin tests have come out grand since I went on glucophage, I don't even think I bother at all. Perhaps I should bring the kit to the office though, since it's such a different situation than normal. Normally I only work at the office one or two hours at most. And when I work at home I can eat in a more normal fashion.

I hadn't thought of a granola bar as being full of carbs. I thought I was being good for not bringing my usual Biggie Root Beer and Brioche for lunch.

sigh.

Let me test my sugars for a day or two and I'll get back to you.

I do know stress can cause a difference, because I wasn't diabetic at one checkup and when I went back for an unrelated reason a couple of months later, after a big project was due at work, my blood sugar was high enough to qualify as diabetic. :(
