I can't help but think it's no coincidence that the week before our first church service, it seems we are being attacked in all sorts of ways;
1) my chronic fevers/achiness has returned with a vengence. My dr. wants to do a spinal tap on Wednesday.
2) My parent's have had yet another breakdown- my dad's drug usage, my mother's codependcy. I had to confront them for the first time in my life this week and set boundaries.
3) We are getting threatened by our former denomination/District that if we open this new church, they will perform "ethical ramifications." Whatever in the world that means! Apparently, because our last church has "split" and many of those former member's are planning on joining our new church, we are "unethical."
There is more but I'll leave it at that.I think this is a spiritual attack- God has something good in store and He knows the ministry He has called us to. I think the enemy is working on bringing us "down" before God moves mightily.
Pray I will fight this battle in the spirit and not pick up the offense in the flesh!
This is so hard, and I just plain don't feel well.
