I came to realization when god gave me 1 major sign, when i was so depressed, i cant explain it.
During a thunderstorm, i stood by the Window lifeless in my room while my parents where at a buisness social, i was raised in church all my life, i always was told god was real, but i only belived it in a superfical sense. This is around september of 2003, i just said 'are you there' please tell me, God please will you do anything. Nothing happened. About 3 minutes later... just a still quiet voice said go lay down in your bed. I did.... 10 seconds just complete silence, then i canot explain the how intense this lightning hit was, i thought it hit the house, the room lit up so bright everything was white. Following a thunder came, the windows raddled, but it was almost as if it was a 'knocking' sound against the wall. THen just the sound of the rain...... The evidence that this wasnt a coiecidence is i requested lightnight with the EXACT number of 3 thunder sounds in a row.
I layed there in shock of what just happned, for atleast 5 min., i was so warped i was blitz for an hour.
I asked god other times after for signs, but none. I dont know, but i think god wanted to follow faith, signs are not faith, there just sensations.
Hearing God is like a radio tuner, i dont know if its his voice or my mind simulating it. But usally when i see things happen, it is just a still quiet voice, almost not there. God has awnsered me in distess when my mom dosnt get me to the doctor, he will make a way.
Well... i just wanted to maybe imply my experience, is still dont know alot of things. I read Corinthians alot, i have learned some understadning but i feel alot that i am behind. All i have is faith.
