Thanks Nicholas, for your inspiring words. I am sorry you are feeling spiritually dry at the moment. Sometimes I feel that the medication can do this. What do you think? I can really empathise when you say that you were aware of a divine presence in the world when you were ill - I had similar experiences and felt much more spiritual passion at the time too.
I have decided that I will be more concerned with feeling compassion than seeking signs of God's existence, which is bound to drive me crazy!
