Looks like not much happened in the way of catastrophy around this millenium, Dr. Bob,.. relatively speaking. I am ok with having the earth in a stable condition. I have kids. Do you ?

That is an interesting thought, dr. Bob. I have always thought that the 'original sin' is a bad rap to begin with, and it originated as way of humans explaining to themselves the separation from God that happens when they get born. I always wondered, how the world would be if we taught that at the beginning there was not sin, but a painful trauma.

Maybe God does not send us here to punish us, and
maybe Jesus did not die for sins that did not yet happen, as much as for the lack of compassion and understanding in his own age. Maybe. Just a thought that my God sent me to consider.

There is no truth about God - Jesus taught - than the truth that you and I live. We are all stations on God's radio, we all have different tastes in his music.

(which had not yet been discovered at the time of the writing of this other article) The Dead Sea Scrolls link the Old Testament with the New Testament, spanning that period of time between Malachi and John the Baptist. It is another remarkable record. The scrolls contain a complete Bible, from about 1000 years earlier than ours that is very near to the one we use today, and also include the Aprocrypha (Old Testament Books not in Hebrew Bible) as well as many other books, mistakes and errors mingled with accuracy.

Please, check that math again dr. Bob

>>I believe Gordon B. Hinckley is a prophet like Noah, here to save us from the floods of today. He is 93. I wonder if he will live until 2006.

Again, folks, in the interest of therapy here - I don't see signs of 'apocalypse' and for those who do I would recommend to invest in our future by mothering or fathering a child or two. It will change your ideas of the future, unless the illness is too far gone.
