Worthy? If we were capable of being worthy by our own works, God wouldn't have needed to send Jesus to redeem us from sin. Is the birth, life, crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ REALLY a non-event to mormons? Was Saul "able and worthy" for the visit from Jesus (already risen and seated on the right hand of God at this point) on the Damascus road just BEFORE his conversion to CHRISTIANITY and being renamed Paul from which point he carried out one of the greatest ministries in the history of Christianity? Paul's own testimony was that he considered himself to be the chief of all sinners at the point of the visitation of Jesus.
