This sounds really promising...

Hi, I was researching churches, and found this list of basic beliefs of Unitarian Universalists:

I can really embrace all these notions! That one about individuals inventing their own theology especially. I assumed I'd have to sort of do that in secret, and find some church that almost fit, where I could take their doctrine with a grain of salt, and try to tread the line between being true to myself and being part of the group, and sort of be on the fringe with the other people who didn't take the belief system completely to heart. Which is sometimes successful, and sometimes not.

Wow, now I just have to go to the church itself. I hope it will feel like a good fit in person, and not just on paper.
