Hiya Susan-
I used to think that it was an automatic 'yes', but it isn't that simple. What if someone cut a major artery, couldn't get help, and realized they didn't want to die? I can't say God wouldn't forgive them that, who am I to say?
If they outright asked God's forgiveness, no, because God forgives you anything if you ask...
