My EXboyfriend from last year had bulimia, and it's really not as uncommon as people think. Read The Adonnis Complex, which is about men's eating disorders and body image. I think it's ridiculous that the feelings and experiences of men in the area of eating disorders and body image goes unnoticed or unacknowledged--men have the same feelings as women do about this subject, only they are taught through societal norms that to express it as such or accept their feelings about it is wrong/unnatractive/immasculating/ etc!
