Hi Spriggy,

Sorry, I found your post a little late, nut if you are still looking for anything good to read on bipolar, Kay Redfield Jamison (my hero) wrote another book called "Touched With Fire" that talks about the link between bipolar illness and a creative/genius temperment. Also, the book that has always helped me the most to understand myself, especially when I am depressed is "Unholy Ghost", a collection of writers on depression (and a little on manic depression), put together by Nell Casey. I still refer to it when I need to understand that other people 'have been there'.
