I'm reading "We Need to Talk About Kevin" and it's really well written but tough going I'm about half way through in 3 weeks, keep needing to take a break from it. But the further i get into it the better I'm finding it. If you don't have kids already it may very well put you off for life.
"Lucky" is an entirely different book from "The Lovely Bones". It is a very hard read at times because of the subject matter - her rape. As a man I think it was a very important book to read and one that will have a lasting effect on me.
P.S: Loved you're story about meeting Tony Parsons Nikki, that's so funny.
