Thanks for the welcome, Nikki. I was in a bookclub IRL through my boss at work. She's a dentist, I answered her phones. The rest of the club consisted of other doctors, lawyers, columnists, ummmm... Professional Women. I am sure it's my own fabulous paranoia at work, but I felt so out of my league. They would be chatting about court cases, what country to go on vacation to, where they shopped. I was OK as far as discussing a book intelligently, but the "small talk" scared me to death! I was sure I'd be found out as a pretender.
I boogied out after a year and haven't been able to go back since. That's why I am so thrilled to had found you guys.
