Now I'm reading "The Straw Men" by Micheal Marshall.. hubby bought this book as we've read his other books (written under Micheal Marshall Smith.. "Spares" (which I really enjoyed) "One of us" and "Only forward")
His other books ahve been pretty much sci-fi, but this one, so far (about third of way in) isn;t sci-fi at all! It seems to be more of a thriller, so isn't what we were expecting. I am enjoying it though, its definately got me hooked cos I need to know whats going to happen next, I really have no idea where its going to go!!
Bought my copy of "Middlesex".. I was soo lucky. I've been saving for my trip, in two weeks, but decided to pop into book shop last Tuesday as I was in the area. They often ahve book signings going on there, and as I could see one happening I wandered over!! Only to find out it was Jeffrey Eugenides (the author of Middlesex!) I am now the very proud owner of a signed copy!!
