full body hyperthemia

Posted by ideopath on June 29, 2016, at 12:59:09

There are a lot of articles now about this due to another clinical trial that showed really good results. But I didn't really understand the mechanism. I don't think that it is very important to know the mechanism as long as it is safe and that it works. But even so it would be interesting to know.

The body is heated to 101.3 F for a while, and then cools down. But it is postulated that the cooler body temperature persists is responsible for the effectiveness. But if that is true, why didn't the author disclose the body temperatures of the subjects for at least several weeks afterwards?
