Hypericin free St Johns Wort=no cataracts??

Posted by Lamdage22 on October 14, 2015, at 11:14:21

I have heard that hypericin can cause cataracts and that the actual antidepressant compound is hyperforin.

I have had very positive results with St Johns Wort during my highschool degree. I was very functioning, calmer and more concentrated. Also, i had euthymic mood. No mania, no depression. Just functioning.

I have been staying away from St Johns Wort due to the fact that in can cause cataracts.

However, pure hyperforin does not cause this.

I have not found any supplements that are hypericin free but i could order pure hyperforin as a pure chemical.

schizo-affective, type depressive
Seroquel 700mg
Zyprexa 12.5mg
Effexor 37.5mg
Metformin 2000 to 2425mg
Lithium orotate 360mg
