Lamdage22,

I'm sorry to hear that you've been feeling increasingly frustrated as of late. Frustration is an emotion that I unfortunately seem to be well acquainted with, and I get the sense that many others with psychotic disorders experience their fair share of frustration as well. And sometimes I think that those with at least a decent amount of insight into their psychotic disorders might feel even more frustrated than those who don't have insight, as those in the former group are more in tune with the reality of what their life is like and are less likely to have delusional and oftentimes grandiose notions about their place in the world.

As a person who both has a psychotic disorder and is frustrated by just how enormous the difference between where I'm at in life and where I want to be in life is, I too feel at times like life isn't meant for me. But I do feel that somehow, there's got to be a reason (or a few) why I'm still here and that even though that difference between where I'm at and where I'd like to be in life is currently quite large, that doesn't mean that things will always be that way and that my life might not feel and become more meaningful at some point down the road. And I think that that's one thing to keep in mind: the fact that things do change, and oftentimes they change for the better. Sure, you might feel stuck and frustrated right now, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you'll keep feeling that way for the rest of your natural life. Life may not seem like it's for you ... today, but maybe it will be tomorrow.

I'm not sure if reading a message on an Internet forum will be of any help to you, but I will say that I like interacting with you here on Psycho-Babble and that I'm saddened by the fact that you've been feeling frustrated as of late. Please don't hesitate to talk to a professional if you feel the need to do so. Maybe your treatment regimen might need a little adjusting, or maybe something else can be done to ease your feelings of frustration, but again, I'd recommend in favor of consulting with a professional if you think that there's even a chance that doing so is something that you need to do.

Take care for now, and be well.

Tomatheus
