Magnesium and Potassium Asporotates

Posted by mellow on May 11, 2011, at 15:18:14

I'm trying a different type of Magnesium. I'm training for a half marathon and experiencing some leg pain. I get a little mileage and relaxation at night out of magnesium supplements. I have tried Magnesium Citrate and Cal/Mag/Zinc formulations.

The chick at the vitamin store said this form of Magnesium which also has something called Bromelain might help with the muscle pain and cramping particularly in my legs. I'm going to see if it helps at night and with bowel function as I have typically used magnesium in the past for these issues. Hopefully this supplement will prove to be multi purpose.

I'm also changing my B complex to a Nutritionally Balanced B Stress to see if this will help with the demands of running, yoga and intense cardio workouts.

Anyhow I would enjoys discourse on this stuff if anyone has experience with Magnesium for muscle pain, relaxation or if anyone is into running and has natural pain remedies for the hamstrings and butt! Most of the time I buy stuff by a company called Solaray. They are moderately priced and I feel pretty good on their stuff.

Hope everyone is well. Its been awhile since I hung out on Alternative.
