I don't know about exercise, especially if you are a low-energy person. Exercise can also produce oxidative stress, and people who are schizophrenic already have a lot of oxidative stress. So the jury's still out on exercise. I bought a stationary bike recently and plan to do a trial for a few weeks and see how I feel. As far as the supplements go, I have had success with using B1, B2, B6, B12, E, selenium, GABA, fish oil, Calcium and Magnesium at bedtime, and 1,000mg of Tylenol at bedtime. Dosages of each nutrient need to be tailored to the individual. That is very important. I have since discarded the vitamin C and zinc picolinate since they seemed to just complicate the depression, and I felt they weren't absolutely needed for me to feel well. I was correct in that assumption. I still smoke 1 and 1/2 packs a day, but that is a whole other story. Other than that, I take all my prescribed meds everyday, and overall, I stay healthy and well. If anybody has any questions about my regimen, I'd be happy to help if I can.
