Since the Wellbutrin worked so well for this family member with severe biological depression, fatigue, attention, I certainly did not believe anything the doctor could suggest called "alternative" could substitute, but I was wrong. He put her on a combination of Rhodiola (from a reputable source) and something called Vital Adapt. Now - don't just go off willy-nilly trying this. She was under a doctor's care. She had to stop the Wellbutrin and switch - NOT NOT NOT take both simultaneously. Also, he gave her instructions about not taking rhodiola 24/7 so her body wouldn't adjust to the point it would not work.
One thing I find interesting is that someone I know is on Cancer treatment and he is on something called "Power Adapt" which is very similar to the "Vital Adapt" only maybe even stronger.
All this made me wonder about the fatigue and attention problems many people feel (chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia) and wonder how interconnected everything is.
