I don't know about the enemas. Never done them and not sure I could.

But garlic, I'm a huge fan. It has to be the smelly kind. That's where the potency is. Odorless is not much good for infection. The internet claims by those selling supposedly powerful odorless versions do not hold up in my own tests or in books by doctors who know this stuff. The very best I've ever had is called Allicin Caps made by Dr Zhang (male, chinese Lyme doctor in New York). I think one thing often overlooked about garlic, besides its potent antifungal and antibacterial properties, is its sulfur content. Some of us just need more sulfur to feel good. Don't know why. My hunch is it has something to do with liver function in cleaning out junk.

I don't know what meds you were prescribed. I found Nystatin fairly useless. Very effective in the gut for sure, but doesn't do anything systemically.

Diflucan, different story. It's an atomic bomb on candida and penetrates cells and brain effectively to get it where ever it lives. The most potent herbs I've tried were Pau D'Arco tea and Oil of Oregano. They likely are heavy duty antibacterial agents as well, and I had some viscious Herx reactions on them. Some people claim Olive Leaf to be a miracle, but it was not helpful to me.

Of the zillions of meds, herbs, and supplements I've tried, garlic is one of the top three ever.
