scopolamine (hyoscine/ kwells) for depression

Posted by rovers95 on September 10, 2009, at 18:07:03

Hey, just tried this for my depression after reading stuff on the board and elsewhere. I only respond to anti glutamergenic meds (riluzole, special k, theanine, memantine) as i firmly believe my condition is caused by an intaractable magnesium deficiency. Everything else tends to do nothing, or improve my depression but increase my anxiety (choline, caffeine) or vice versa (benzos).

Anyway after takin 3 tabs of 'boots travel calm' yesterday (2 in the morning, 1 in the evening) i definetly feel different (better) today, although yesterday i just felt spaced out and a bit weird.

was wondering if anyone knew what a sensible dosing regime would be? Seems as though oral dosing brings levels to about 1/4 of the same amount if IV'd! Should it be taken long term? And if so, little and often or in a big dose every 3 or 4 days? And should i expect rebound symptoms?

Also I've having PLX therapy so it may even be that causing the AD effects!!

Thanks

Rover
