I had no idea time release existed. check its bioavailability and ratings among people who buy it on amazon or other sites that are frequented by many.
The issue with regular melatonin is it will help you induce sleep (its your sleep cycle hormone - tells your body to shut down) but it only lasts couple hours in feel....so in theory the extended release should be better but you know that response to that kind of thing is individual. i.e. some people dislike effexor but love eff xr.
