Does L-TYROSINE develope tolerence? anyone?

Posted by myco on March 3, 2009, at 13:24:13

Any L-Tyrosine user out there?

I just started taking it to potentiate Nardil's effects. Came on with slight flushing, slight increase in heartrate, very mild headache...all of which went away in minutes. Then it got very relaxing then shortly after I developed lots of energy and increase in thoughts, and later in the day mild irritation.
I found it worked well the first day at ~150mg twice a day then the next 2 days has been diminishing.

My question is: anyone using L-Tyrosine noted an tolerence over time? And what doses do you use most commonly? Mine will have to be adjusted for maoi use though.

I plan on taking this small dose..waiting until it "wears off" then raising slowly until I get sustained effect. I can't see tolerence developing if you are merely providing a normal part of a food amino that leads into catecholamine increase...but i'm still learning.

Please share,
This may be an excellent augment for me
