Do Stimulants Effect Bipolar?

Hi there folks. I was wondering if anyone had any information on the effects of stimulants on the brain especially relating to Bipolar. I have a terrible addiction to DietCoke and drink a RedBull or V type energy drink about 4 times a week. I have a cup of tea every morning and a coffee every now and again. Thinking that I should stop drinking all of the above if it is having a negative effect on me. I take lithium so drinking these types of things could be a problem even though I drink heaps of water. Your advice, opinion or information would be greatly appreciated.
