A friend of mine has IBS which ok isn't Crohns disease, however it is a bowel disease. I spent quite a lot time researching on the net and didn't find anything that worked for her. Then we happened to mention it in a health food shop and the knowledgeable owner suggested she try a herb called Tormentil. Amazingly it made a huge difference in a positive way. I just looked up this herb again and it can be used to treat Crohn's disease. If you haven't tried it then please consider it. The brand she uses is Bioforce Tormentil. We emailed Bioforce and they said it can be used indefinitely , but of course they advise that is up to you. So far she's used it for six months without problems.

The shop owner also recommended Quest Enzyme Digest with Betaine HCL, she hasn't tried that one yet though, but maybe it's worth looking at as well.
