You know what I'm noticing about these published (and my own) critiques of the JAMA article? Although there are some themes in common, each one also has some unique reasons to criticize the conclusions of the study. I just wish JAMA would have the cajones to publish the criticisms. This isn't the first time they've published junk science/totally biased articles. The St. John's wort study was legendary in its methodological errors, and the inappropriateness of the abstract/conclusions. JAMA should be renamed Pharmaceutical Lobby Press.
