I applied hydrogen peroxide with baking soda directly to the sore and it hurt like crazy. If anything, it localized the pain (a good thing), but this could also be from time elapsed. I picked up alum and it really stung, in a piercing way, and it also didn't do too much. Maybe by tomorrow I will notice a difference?mouthulcers.org is great! I might try the remedy "Punchin' the pillow". I really think time and a healthier lifestyle will heal it most effectively.
