Mice lacking the cannabanoid receptors CB1/CB2 have significantly impaired neurogenesis.

Certain marajuanna based drugs also seem to promote neurogenesis.

I think that exercise induced neurogenesis is based upon activation of the endocannabadnoid system.

In addition to activation of CB-1 CB-2 receptors, certain cannabanoids like anandimide are potent 5-ht1a agonists. So it appears to me that these substances might be affecting affect neurogenesis through several pathways.
