i imagine it would probably make you quite nauseous. As already stated, i'd guess that it would be less harmful, however, than smoking it, but comparable to chewing it. Regardless, i think you would have to find out the typical quantity of beta-carbolines and of nicotine (& other important chemicals?) in tobacco, and then decide whether it's worthwhile or not from there.
