Mellaril withdrawal symptoms can be particularly bad - worse than most APs. If the hospital still has any Mellaril, it would be a good idea to restart the Mellaril and do a SLOW taper. If not, Largactil is a similar drug and might relieve her symptoms. She could then taper the Largactil. Atypical APs are very different to Mellaril and are unlikely to relieve her symptoms.
