Tea better than L-theanine?

Posted by MM on September 1, 2005, at 2:22:56

I find an almost instant calming effect from drinking my white tea (or camomile) which is what I expected from an L-theanine supplement, but didn't get. I only took it one day so far as I decided to just stick to taurine for now so I can judge the effects of that clearly. But if l-theanine has worked for anyone, I suggest maybe trying tea because it has been quite helpful to me. I drink like 4 16oz? (two teabags) cups (those starbucks travel mug things) a day and it really helps with anxiety for me. I don't know which one is more expensive though. I just thought I'd throw it out there.
