I took a long list of alternative remedies and nootropics to my psychiatrist and asked his opinion about their use with ADHD. He suggested fish oil as teh the one most likely to help. I found that the fish burps were just so nasty that I didn't want to swallow the tablets.

I have found an alternative way of taking the fish oil that avoids the burps. It is called Coromega and it is a custard like orange goop made from fish oil, egg yolk, orange flavor and menthol. It isn't pleasant but it is better than capsules. I typically take with baby sized yoghurt containers. Cheapest price I found was $30 for a pack of 90 sachets.

(Other remedies I didn't try:

Deprenyl
pramracetam
galantamine
l-tyrosine
GABA
vitamin B12
dish oil
adrafinil
DHEA
SAME
aricept
NeuroReplete
taurine
